This is a big month for Cory Basil and The Perils of Fishboy: A Tale Split in Two. Nashville Native has written an article, providing some background and biographical information about the author and artist in residence here at Fog Ink (FYI: “Artist in Residence is an honorary title we just made up for this blog post.). For those of you unfamiliar with his work, Cory is an accomplished fine artist and also published a book of poetry called Skinny Dipping in Daylight, which was released last year.

In addition to the article in Native, Cory has an upcoming event at Barnes &Noble Vanderbilt on December 7th, 2014. If you’re in the Nashville area, please join us there at 7:00 PM to celebrate the release of this whimsical and engaging title for children.
